Christopher Canfield has been practicing for 15 years in the field of trusts and estates and tax law.
He advises individuals and small businesses with respect to all aspects of estate and tax planning, utilizing wills and various types of trusts. He also represents executors and trustees in Surrogate’s Court matters. Prior to attending law school, Chris was an associate at a large accounting firm, and he is a certified public accountant.
In addition to Chris’s extensive work in the trusts and estates field, he is also a certified Court Examiner, assisting the New York State Supreme Court in overseeing numerous Article 81 Guardianship cases.
Chris is a member of the bars of New York and Connecticut, as well as that of Putnam County.
