|Timothy Cummiskey practices in commercial litigation with a focus on construction law. He has represented a variety of construction clients, including owners, construction managers, general and prime contractors, subcontractors, material suppliers and sureties. Tim has prosecuted and defended all types of cases that traditionally arise in a construction dispute, including extra work claims, delay and defect claims, mechanic’s lien foreclosure actions, surety bond claims and trust fund issues. He has experience with both public and private projects in New York and New Jersey, including projects related to public schools, hospitals, office buildings, condominium developments and private residences. His practice also includes reviewing, negotiating and drafting construction contracts.
Tim is a member of the American and New York State Bar Associations and the Association of the Bar of the City of New York.
