Goetz Fitzpatrick partner Neal M. Eiseman will speak at the American Bar Association (ABA) Section of Litigation Annual Conference in New Orleans on April 17, 2015.
The program is entitled, “A Litigator’s Guide to Arbitration: Best Practices to Maximize the Benefits of Your Next Arbitration,” and will focus on attorney ethics and strategies for both seasoned arbitrators and litigators. The program will show participants innovative ways to convert garden-variety arbitrations into a cost-effective, fair, and prompt proceedings. Topics will include arbitration clauses, arbitrator selection, initial conference, sanctions, ex parte communications, and settlement discussions.
Eiseman – who is both an experienced arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association as well as a litigator representing parties in arbitration proceedings – has spoken and published extensively on legal issues related to arbitration.
