For more than 25 years, commercial litigator, Neal M. Eiseman has provided legal services to a wide variety of corporate clients in the construction and real estate industries. Representing real estate developers, lenders, owners, construction managers, contractors, manufacturers and design professionals, he advises clients in both the transactional and litigation aspects of commercial and real estate law. A member of the American and New York State Bar Associations, the New York County Lawyer's Association and ABA Sections in Construction and Litigation, Mr. Eiseman is admitted to practice law in New York, New Jersey, several Federal District Courts, the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court. He is currently Co-Chair of the ABA's Committee on Arbitration.
Mr. Eiseman’s commitment to his practice extends beyond the courtroom. As an Adjunct Professor at New York University, he teaches masters courses in "Construction and Real Estate Law" and "Negotiation and Dispute Resolution". He is a regular guest speaker at events held by the American Bar Association, the American Arbitration Association, Lorman Seminars and various construction trade associations, He has written extensively about construction and commercial issues for law journals in New York and New Jersey, addressing client-related concerns of other attorneys in his field so that the entire sector can better serve their clients.
Mr. Eiseman serves on the Construction Arbitration Master Panel, the Panel of Arbitrators and the Panel of Mediators of the American Arbitration Association, and has served on that organization’s Regional Construction Attorney Advisory Counsel in New York. He has also served as an arbitrator for New York City's Small Court, and founded the Bergen County Bar Association’s Construction Law Committee.
Mr. Eiseman is a graduate of St. John’s University School of Law and The George Washington University, where he earned a B.A. in Journalism and Political Science. An A-V rated attorney, he is also recognized as a 2007, 2008, and 2009 "Super Lawyer" in the field of construction law.
