Howard M. Rubin, an A-V rated attorney, was chosen for inclusion in "Super Lawyers of New York" in 2009 for the third year for his representation of closely held corporations.  He represents leading commercial real estate brokers in New York and closely held companies in a variety of industries including apparel, pharmaceuticals, Internet, real estate, and entertainment.  Howard provides general counsel, acting as a sounding board for new ideas and developments related to his clients’ respective businesses as well as providing transactional and litigation services. He creates practical solutions to serve his clients’ needs and solves problems within the framework dictated by his clients' needs, the factual situation and the legal context.

In more than 30 years of practice, Howard has also represented numerous Fortune 500 and privately held companies in the Internet industry, real estate, construction, pharmaceutical, wholesale consumer goods and apparel industries. He is a graduate of the City College of New York and Brooklyn Law School. Howard has written and lectured extensively in the areas of real estate brokerage law, secured transactions, corporate issues, and commercial litigation.

Howard is a member of the Board of Advisors of Sterling National Bank and recently received the Mickey Mantle Community Service Award.  He serves on the committees of numerous charitable organizations, is president of the Citrin Foundation, and as a member of the Real Estate Board of New York.  He is a member of the American and New York Bar Associations and is admitted to practice in the state and federal courts in New York and New Jersey.
