Aaron Boyajian’s practice is concentrated on corporate/transactional, entertainment and real estate law.
Aaron's corporate and transactional experience includes counseling clients with respect to formation of new companies and restructuring existing ones, as well as, handling employment, shareholder and asset purchase agreements. His transactional experience also includes drafting and negotiating entertainment, intellectual property and technology agreements such as trademark licenses and security agreements, advising clients concerning registration and protection of intellectual property assets, and reviewing and clearing internet and marketing materials.
His entertainment experience includes negotiating contracts and consulting production companies with respect to motion picture financing and distribution. To this end, Aaron has acted as legal counsel on the for executive producer of "Adventures of Power" (2008), "Just Like the Son" (2006) and “Nicky’s Game” (2005). Aaron also has been legal counsel for the following productions: “Handsome Harry” (2009) and Asylum Seekers (2008).
With respect to his real estate practice, Aaron represents all sides of the table, including purchasers, sellers and lenders in both residential and commercial real estate transactions. These include refinancing and construction loan transactions. He also represents tenants and property owners in lease transactions.
Along with firm founder Peter Goetz, he authored both "Liability Under ‘Scaffold Law’ May be Alleviated in New York," published in the , September 13, 2005 edition of the New York Real Estate Journal, and, "Rate-swap agreements allow for borrowers and lenders to mitigate risk of interest rate fluctuations," published in the September 12, 2006 edition of the New York Real Estate Journal.
Aaron is admitted in New York and Massachusetts and is a member of the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce.
Aaron also serves as general counsel and on the Advisory Board for the Professional Women in Construction, a New York City based not-for-profit organization committed to advancing professional, entrepreneurial and managerial opportunities for women and other non-traditional populations in construction and related industries.
Aaron received his BA from Franklin and Marshall College and graduated from Hofstra University School of Law (J.D., 1998).
